Be warned: if you're a fan of collectibles or nostalgia, plan to spend more time here than you intended. We thought we'd take a quick look around and ended up exploring for quite a while because there was so much to see! The Item Shop in Bloomington is absolutely worth a visit. Walking through this store felt like taking a trip through several decades of pop culture. Everywhere I looked, there was something that brought back memories from my childhood. From vintage toys and collectibles to comics, trading cards, action figures, and memorabilia, this place is packed with treasures. One of my favorite finds was seeing the Garbage Pail Kids collectibles. Talk about a blast from the past! I also loved seeing the Masters of the Universe and Stranger Things collaboration figures. As someone who appreciates both nostalgia and collectibles, that display definitely caught my attention. The variety here is impressive. Whether you're into comic books, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, LEGO, action figures, vintage toys, or hard-to-find collectibles, there's a good chance you'll find something that sparks your interest. This store has an amazing variety and brings me back to my childhood! Of all the hobby stores ive been to, I have never seen a wider variety of toys, cards, comics, and collectibles. The entire store is neat, priced well, and has an amazing vibe. I live more than two hours away, and I will absolutely be coming back. The big green flag is that I won a stuffed magikarp on their claw machine on my FIRST TRY.

Decided to stop in after learning about this place watching Pixel Dan’s toy hunt videos! Was in the area from Milwaukee for the Ghost concert in Peoria and holy cow, this place is amazing! It has a lot of great pieces for anyone’s collection! Saw this great gadget car! Picked up a couple TMNT ultimates I was missing! Thanks guys!

Stopped in for the first time today. I've been meaning to check it out for quite some time now, and had the chance after finishing a different errand close by. I was impressed with the video game selection, both games and hardware, and the prices seemed reasonable compared to other retailers. I didn't purchase anything during this visit because I was a little pressed for time, but I will certainly return to browse and purchase in the future. I also want to note that the staff were all very pleasant. They left me alone to browse, but I knew where to go if I had questions. Also, when I left without purchasing anything they did not seem at all annoyed, and thanked me for coming in. I have had very different experiences at other stores of this type, and I wanted to specifically call out their friendliness. I can't wait to go back and search for some treasures when I have a bit more time.

One of the coolest stores I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. TONS of new and old toys from Star Wars to Transformers to Power Rangers, TONS of classic video game systems and games, lots of comics and cards and a few shelves of anime merch, Godzilla merch. If you’re into any “geeky” fandom this is the shop. I was visiting from AZ for a week and I went three times and found something I missed each time.
